I want Honda to cover 100% of the cost to fix the damage they did. He insists I put the tape on the car even though I have pictures of the car with nothing on top as it's being loaded onto the tow truck. Now that I am back in the country I paid ***** a visit. I replied that I insisted that Honda pay for 100% of the cost. Nov 18th he got a reply from ************************* stating that Honda would cover 50% of the cost. On Nov 16th my brother followed up with an email. He sent me a few pictures and went to the shop to talk and showed them what happened. When he picked up the car he noticed there was paint missing from the roof and by knowing what happened he guessed someone taped up the moon roof and when they took the tape off the paint came with it. That same day I left the country and asked my brother to pick up the car which he did the next week. On Oct 10th I got a call saying the part was in and that I had a bill of $1,430.22 and I paid it. Sept 9th I got a call with an estimate that I okayed but the part needed was on backorder. I will not rescind this complaint.***I had my 2016 Honda HRV towed to Wilde Honda East on Sept 7th, 2022 because water entered through the moon roof during a storm and soaked the electronics, making it not start. I was told the person who agreed to this is no longer working here so there's nothing for me to do. I did but Honda has not honored their agreement. I submitted the complaint below and was told that the problem would be taken care of if I kindly rescind this. The 2016 Honda Fit sold to ***** and the dealership does not show on any of the 3 dealer preowned lots per website searches. This smacks of fraud and breach of contract on the part of Wilde Honda East Towne. no apologies have been expressed on the part of the staff we have dealt with to date.No funds have been paid as of 5-15-23. Through the last week we have been given excuse after excuse for this delay of payment owed to ** and have had to be the pursuant of owed funds. This course of events with Wilde Honda East Towne has created a financial and emotional hardship on myself and my wife 0f 50 years, *******. just stating that they need to immediately pay for the car they had a clear title on as of 5-2-23. or made unreasonable demands of him or the dealership. ***** became belligerent with while on the phone and accused me of abusing him. I told them I will travel 50 miles to the dealership for a new check to be told that they will need to stop payment on the mailed check and then track the mailed check to verify if it was cashed or not. *****, the sales rep told me that they have no control over the mail and it not their fault we haven't received the promised funds. Wilde Honda East Towne contacted us to purchase our 2016 Honda Fit and signed a contracted deal 0n 4-29-23.They paid out the amount owed and took ownership on May 2, 2023.The contract shows this dealership agreed to pay ** $5998.53 upon transfer of title.Per multiple calls to the pre owned sales **** ***** and the pre owned sales mananger, *****, no funds have been mailed, transferred or delivered to ** a stated on the signed appraisal voucher for the agreed upon balance.I have stated per phone calls that I want the owed funds immediately, to be told that the check was mailed out on 5-10-23. Their head mechanic had never seen that before. My vehicle was in there for a problem earlier that they charged me for and they couldnt even explain to me what caused the problem. They also could not provide me with a loaner vehicle and it is my families only vehicle. They have now had my vehicle for a month and I still havent even been told a firm yes or no if it will be covered and they have done no work on the van. They then asked for receipts which I provided for them. In there paperwork for the warranty it states that I can use records of maintenance I did myself and I pointed that out to them and the records are in the glove box. They all agreed with me and then I was told that I didnt have records so then they couldnt cover it. I then questioned that decision because it is not a typical maintenance needed repair like a oil change that the car is actually broken. I had the car towed to the dealership and was then told by the service rep that it was not. I also called the extended warranty company and they told me the same thing. The vehicle needs the piston rings replaced because of carbon buildup in the cylinders and the dealerships sales rep told me it was a known Honda problem and that it should be covered. I also purchased an extended warranty from the dealership. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle that came with a bumper to bumper warranty.
